Product Features
* Featuring a unique single- or dual-blade impeller design, this pump significantly enhances its ability to pass through debris, effectively handling fibrous materials up to five times the diameter of the pump’s inlet and solid particles with diameters approximately 50% of the pump’s inlet diameter.
* The mechanical seal is made of a new, hard, corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide material, and the sealing design has been upgraded to a double-end-face seal. This allows the pump to operate continuously and safely in the oil chamber for over 8,000 hours.
* The overall structure is compact, small in size, low-noise, and boasts significant energy-saving performance. It’s easy to maintain and doesn’t require a pump room—simply submerge it in water to start operating, greatly reducing project costs.
* The float switch can automatically control the pump’s start and stop based on changes in the liquid level, eliminating the need for dedicated personnel to monitor it, making it extremely convenient to use.
Application Occasion
The WQ series submersible sewage and sludge pumps feature a compact structure, resistance to entanglement, and a long service life. They are widely used in industries, agriculture, mining, hospitals, hotels and restaurants, construction sites, municipal environmental protection projects, and fishpond cleaning operations. These pumps are ideal for conveying mixtures containing insoluble solid particles such as mud, pulp, lime slurry, domestic wastewater, sewage, fecal matter, as well as short fibers, paper scraps, and silt.
Terms of Use
The electric pump can operate continuously and normally under the following conditions:
The submersible pump must be immersed in water to a depth of no more than 5 meters.
The medium temperature shall not exceed 40℃.
The pH of the medium is 4–10.
The volume fraction of solid particles in the medium shall not exceed 2%.
The kinematic viscosity of the medium is 7 × 10⁻⁷ to 23 × 10⁻⁶ m²/s.
The density of the medium is at most 1.2 × 10³ kg/m³;
The power supply frequency is 50 Hz, with a voltage of 380 V three-phase AC and 220 V single-phase AC. The voltage fluctuation range is ±10% of the rated value.
Structural principle
The WQ-type submersible sewage and sludge pump consists of three main components: the pump, the seal, and the motor. The pump is located at the lower part of the pump unit and features a special impeller and volute structure. The motor is situated at the upper part of the pump unit and is either a single-phase or three-phase electric motor. A double-end-face mechanical seal is used between the pump and the motor, and “O”-ring oil-resistant rubber seals are employed at all fixed sealing interfaces to provide static sealing (see Figure 1 for detailed structure).
When the motor is connected to a three-phase 380V power supply (220V for single-phase), the stator generates a rotating magnetic field, causing the rotor to turn and thereby driving the impeller to rotate. The high-speed rotating impeller exerts pressure on the water, which then flows through the pump body and exits via the discharge pipe.
